Easter Egg Sugar Cookies

My husband and kids said these were the best sugar cookies ever!

The boys had too much fun decorating them with yummy frosting and sprinkles. We made a lot of these cookies to take out to our friends for easter.

They were easy to make and don't require any rolling, chilling, or a lot of effort in frosting or decorating. My mom made her sugar cookies with sour cream and they always got eaten right up all the time. She said one time she brought a lot to a church function and she felt a bad because the other cookie trays hardly got eaten and all of her's were gone! But they were so so so good!!!!!

So, I'm glad that I found an easy no rolling, no chilling sugar cookie recipe and although I can't eat these they seem nice and soft and fluffy.

Try out your own and enjoy!

Rainbow Pancakes

We wanted to make something yummy and funny for breakfast last weekend.

So I made Rainbow Pancakes w/ sprinkles.

My hungry little hippos loved them!

Just add food coloring to your pancakes and let the magic happen :)

Christmas Marshmallow Pops

We had fun as a family making these Marshmallow Pops
to hand out as a Christmas treat for our neighbors.

They are super fun and easy to make!
I got the idea from the Ree Drummond "The Pioneer Woman."
Her directions here.

First, I got out all the sprinkles and marshmallows.

Put the marshmallow on a stick and dipped them into our melted white and dark chocolate,
which I melted in a double broiler (see her website).

We had to use our finger to smooth out the chocolate around the marshmallow
or else it was dripping with too much chocolate.

Then we dipped, swirled, and sprinkled...

and let the chocolate covering harden.

I bought some styrofoam and wrapped them in tinfoil
and then stuck our marshmallow pops in.

My kids sure had a lot of fun and said they tasted so good!
